Katherine Running

Katherine Running practices exclusively in the area of criminal defense work.  She began her career at Halberg Criminal Defense upon graduating fourth in her law school class.

Katherine’s experience includes work with both juveniles and adults charged with misdemeanor, gross misdemeanor, and/or felony level offenses including DWI, theft, drug possession, aggravated robbery, criminal vehicular homicide, assault, and expungements.  Katherine is detail oriented and that skill has served her well in working on multimillion-dollar state and federal fraud cases, including complex bank and tax fraud matters.  She has also worked on federal commutation of sentence cases, assisting individuals who were convicted in federal court and were seeking a pardon or reduction of a court’s sentence.  

Katherine’s competitive nature is reflected in her success as a national champion equestrian.  She also still competes at a high level in various volleyball leagues.
