During his twenty-nine years as a criminal trial lawyer, Mr. Halberg has attained a level of trial experience few attorneys can equal, having personally tried over 100 criminal jury trials and literally thousands of criminal court trials. He has garnered extensive experience in both state and federal court handling all types of criminal litigation, including homicide, criminal sexual conduct, drug offenses, complex white collar crimes, vehicular injury and DWI cases. As a former Chief Prosecutor for the City of Edina, Minnesota and the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC), Mr. Halberg supervised the prosecution of over 15,000 criminal cases annually. Mr. Halberg has also previously served as an Assistant Carver County Attorney in Chaska, Minnesota.

Mr. Halberg is Minnesota’s most requested Continuing Legal Education speaker on criminal law issues. He is the author of numerous training manuals and criminal law seminar materials. Notably, Mr. Halberg is the editor-in-chief of The Minnesota DWI Deskbook, the most comprehensive DWI source book for attorneys in Minnesota. Marsh also assists in the training of newly appointed Minnesota District Court Judges.

Mr. Halberg resides in Chaska, Minnesota where he is actively involved in numerous civic, charitable and volunteer organizations serving Carver County and the City of Chaska.
